BIKER OLD SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY

A tribute to Americas Firefighters
Imagine a 1907 motorcycle all painted and equipted to roll on fires or anything else. The little red technecial marvels rolled on two wheels speeding the firefighters to the sceen. The bike is well under way and now the fun job of costuming begins . Our first order of busniness was to find a source for the old leather looking fire helmets. After they were located a little overhaul was in order to finish off the believability. We are in the process now of developing our shirts. Above you can see the photos we are working from. The photo below is the Jerome Victor company of 1901. Our outfits will be dfesigned using these fine gentelmen as inspiration. The belts will also come out of these pictures. We now have 10 nurse dresses and I believe a dozen shirts. We have to get busy on the bibs and hat badges now. Also we have decided to add the pillbox flat brimmed Firemans dress hats. We will be hand making these. After coming up with the Jerome photo it is a must to build the flat brimmed pill box hats.

www.fdhelmets.com makes these shirts. Look to be a very well put together piece. Ours will be simular

The gas tank under construction. Next comes a coat of bondo. We want a smooth metal look. Glazing after that
An old huffy frame is where we started. There will be a lot of alterations done before we are done. Maybe the most important is the loop that will replace the forward part of the frame

The early biker version of the sexy saloon girl. The Sexy Nurse. Most all bikers have daydreamed at least once of a vision like this. We will also offer a more traditional nurse version

The basics done now to age this down and add the bracket for the tension pully lever. Not real happy with the lettering so a bit of re-paint is in order. The lettering now gold leafed, waiting on the drop shadow.

New insperation for our firemans belt

A mold we just made so we can afford to have authentic looking buttons on our shirts. We now have 125 large buttons cast cleaned up and drilled.

We have been collecting the eartly style bell crown Fireman dress hats. The real prefrence is for the earlier flat brimmed hat but they are very rare and expensive. Now thanks to a friend he is going to put his magic to work. By the time he is done they will be as new and be true turn of the century flat brimmed dress hats.

After an extensive search we have found the look for the sexy nurse. Classic cut while still posessing the appeal we were looking for. Now to customize the veil and add a couple of accesories.

Badge Blanks- ready for skull center piece.

Inspiration for our nursing outfit.
